Meet Past Present Pix

Marci Brennan | Founder, Photo Organizer
Prior to launching Past Present Pix in 2016, I spent over 20 years in the photo industry. While at the Bettmann Archive, I had the privilege of working with a collection of 18 million+ images of vast cultural and historical significance. In 1995, the Bettman Archive was acquired by Corbis, the creative photo agency founded by Bill Gates. This was an incredibly significant and exciting time, as the digitization of the collection began, making this rich visual legacy available for the world to see, share and enjoy. The love of images has been a constant theme in my working and creative life. Drawing on my years of professional experience in the photo industry, I can restore cherished memories and create cohesive, thoughtfully curated media libraries. I’m a TPM certified professional photo organizer living in Queens, New York, with my husband/business partner, Chris. Together we offer our photo and video organizing services throughout New York City and beyond.

Chris George | Videographer, Photographer, & Digital Specialist

As a professional videographer and photographer (chrisgeorgeproductions.com), as well as in my previous role as the Art Production Director at Vanity Fair, where I was responsible for the workflow of every image that ran in the magazine, I understand the importance of keeping media meticulously organized, archived, and safely backed up. Utilizing state-of-the-art software, I use best practices for creating easy to identify folder structures, while applying metadata that allows for the quick location of specific files anytime. These same principles carry over into my work with Past Present Pix, where I take great interest in the preservation of personal photo and video collections while ensuring they are securely backed up and easily shareable for generations to come.
