I’m Marci Brennan, a professional personal photo organizer and resident of Queens, NY. I offer my organizing services to clients throughout the New York City metro area.
I’ve spent over 20 years in the photo industry and have had the privilege of working with some of the world’s most renowned image collections. I started out in Boston as a custom printing technician back when darkrooms were the norm and film photography was the standard for shooting and printing images. But New York City beckoned, and I became a photo researcher at the Bettmann Archive, the collection of 18 million+ images of vast cultural significance. Corbis, the creative photo agency founded by Bill Gates, acquired Bettmann a few years later. This was an incredibly significant and exciting time, as the digitization of the archive began, making this rich visual legacy available for the world to see, share and enjoy.
My love of images has been a constant in both my professional and creative life. Photography and photo organizing have been important aspects in my personal life and artwork. Joining APPO was a pivotal moment for me. I knew becoming a personal photo organizer was the profession that would best allow me to fully utilize my years of experience, skills and abilities. I love helping individuals and families manage, organize, and preserve their photo collections. We work together on restoring cherished memories and creating cohesive, thoughtfully curated photo libraries for families to use as a hub for their image and video collections.
Your personal photos are a rich and important legacy, worth organizing and preserving for your children and future generations. Let’s work together to create a modern heirloom, worth sharing and handing down.
